Bio and Links
Bio Photo I work as an archaeologist and historian for a cultural resource management firm. There are times when we evaluate and relocate historic cemeteries. I recently graduated with my masters in history with a thesis on cemetery preservation, education, and tourism.

I also love to explore my family history, which is deeply rooted in Kentucky, especially around Butler and Ohio Counties. I try to visit as many family graves as possible. The surnames include Daugherty, Williams, Ashby, Morris, White, Marrs, Brumley, Newbold, Little, and Ruby.

Westview photo request
Hello

I would like to help you find your photo request at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Westview is massive the largest cemetery in the whole Southeast. Would you please help me by calling the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out whether the grave is marked with a monument or marker or both AND what the section and lot numbers are.

Then I will gladly look.

The office is reluctant to give out that information to non-relatives.

Thanks

Phil

Could you delete your pics that are sideways, edit them at the source and then re-submit them?

Allen Cemetery
Hi, Please direct your question on the location of Allen cemetery to Helen McKnown, she is about 4 posts down from you. I have visited several of the Ohio Co. cemeteries but I was with someone else doing the driving so I really don't know. Perhaps Helen can help you with location. Good luck.
