|Earl Rohde||Photo request|
I'm unable to fulfill the photo request because a young lady put a claim in on it, I was already working on it when she did that and I'm not really sure what that's all about but it's done, you can delete it, feel free to ask me anything that my come to mind that maybe I mite of forgot to check, but I'm pretty focused when helping.
|Earl Rohde||Mary brown / wunn|
I took a picture of where Mary Brown should be, to the right of the large stone for snow & wunn, I also took a picture of the large stone again only this time it was the back of it with another name on it, I'll post them for you, sorry to say she has no stone either.
Now I'm just getting mad, I'm following this map and the records along with the stone addresses if one has one on it at the same time to pinpoint where people are at rest, in one of the pictures I posted for Karl & Anna Wunn the address on the stone says F 459, but the records show F 431, I'm thinking the stone is in the wrong place and or the stone for the stoll's is placed on the Wunn grave in section F 431, I'll check it out and see if that happen, if it did that tells me both stones were made at the same time and when they put the addresses on them they mixed them up, I'm assuming of course but it's bugging me, if I can make it right I will for you.

I see no one is doing any photo taking, it just so happens my 2x gear grandfather Hubert and family are there, so I'll do my best - it is a real small place too - I'll start after work Saturday.

JJ's desk (oak, secretary style) is still in family hands - one of Charles Abram's grand children. I have a picture. What I believe to be the JJ/Ella Harrington Gildersleeve Bible was in Mable's (JJ's youngest) possession and is now in mine. I have a 1908 post card that Ella sent to her son Leslie who was working on Willy's farm in Hill City for the summer.
If you would like to exchange family info, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org

|Susan||Harding Graveyard, Waldo, Maine|
We've been in the area for a few weeks now and saw no activity at the graveyard while we've here this spring, including over Decoration Day. Asking of the lady who lives near there she says she "never" sees cars there, which may be the case but it's been mowed at least once (probably just before Decoration Day as it looked "fresh" then), so someone comes and goes there at least occasionally. Perhaps on my next trip I can locate the caretaker (who may or may not know anything) or maybe catch someone at the town office (who may or may not know any more than the caretaker) to query. Sorry not to have been of more help.

Thanks so much for sponsoring the 5 Gildersleeve memorials! How are you related to the Gildersleeve family?

|Susan||RE: Hannah Harding's gravesite|
There were a couple of folks nearby there out in their yards but neither knew anything about who might have answers for the mystery. There is a chance we'll be back up here over the Decoration Day holiday and if we are I'll try to keep an eye out over there, see if I can catch someone who might provide a clue...
