RE: Capt Thomas Polk
Terri, Thomas I. Polk was born 4 July 1786 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. I believe he married Sarah Isham Moore the 14th July 1808.I believe she died in 1848.The father of Thomas was Charles Polk and his mother was Mary Alexander. I I don't have any children named Frances listed with Thomas and Sarah. His brother Charles James Polk was my 2nd. Grt. Grandfather. He married Martha Hicks James. It is said that Charles James Polk and his wife both died in LaGrange, Fayette Tennessee but I have never found a grave for either of them. I think I found the grave of Sarah, wife of Thomas I. Polk. I will look and see. I am more than glad to share any info I have. Roberta

If you send me your mailing address using the Suggest a correction or edit feature on her memorial I will mail you the original. I have no need to keep them.

Sorry about the delay but we have been moving and still am not caught up

Hi Joe, My name is Terri and I am doing some family research. I believe that Madeline Richardson is Madeline Wheatley born in 1849 to John W Wheatley & Martha Jane Toothman in Indiana. Married to Daniel Richardson. I have a totally different question for you though. I noticed that you also input Lincoln R Reed (1862) in the Cart Cemetery. It says that he was the son of J F and M J. Do you know who J F & M J are? Or do you have any info on them at all? Thanks for your help! ~ Terri

I have no further information

RE: Mary Brown
Hi Terri,

I am sorry I do not personally have any info for Mary. But upon looking around on ancestry.com according to several family trees it is in fact her. There are pictures of her stone and her so if you have access to ancestry.com you would be able to see all that.Hope this helps.

Terri, This info was passed to me by someone. There must not have been a stone or I would have a photo on here. If it is wrong, let me know and I will change it.

Hi,
Welcome to Find A Grave!! I have transferred your mother's memorial to you. What this means is that you are the only one that can add/edit information or link her to other family members.
I got the information from the obituaries for the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune. I accessed these through the Salt Lake County Library.
Welcome, again, and if I can assist you in any way, feel free to let me know (I am on here intermittently right now as one of my family members is quite ill, but I will get back with you).
Bruce
