|Gary Perkins||RE: Perkins Cemetry Grayson County Virginia|
There are actually two private Perkins' cemeteries, but I think that you are more interested in the larger of the two located on the original Fred Perkins farm. It's almost impossible to find, but the GPS coordinates are N 36 degrees 40. 338' and West 81 degrees 21.005'. The farm faces Hwy 731 (Rockbridge Rd.) and the side road is Hwy 775 (Guffey Branch Ln.). When I was there many years ago, there was a mobile home in from of the farm house. You will probably want to check in with the resident. The cemetery is off to the left high up on a hill. Be careful of the poison ivy and good luck. Gary Perkins

Thank you so very much for taking the photos of Kyle Shumates headstone for me. I know the time and care it takes to do this for others. I was just starting to do it for other people when I wrecked my car. But as soon as I get it back I plan on starting again. However, I want you to understand how very much your time (and gas) are appreciated!
|Tracey Mello||Candis J. Huffman|
Thank you so much for the photo of Candis Huffman's marker. There is a marker with her name on it at Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery in Street, Maryland, next to her husband, John Wesley Huffman. There is no date on it and after speaking with several family members, I found that she was not buried in Maryland, but, fittingly, in the place she spent most of her life. Again, thanks so much!

Thank you for the great photo of Virginia's memorial. I was also able to locate her husband on the same photo.
