You're so welcome. I'm SO glad to finally be able to add that picture. It has weighed heavily on my mind for YEARS that she had no stone and has been on the photo request list for Glenhaven. I wa thrilled to see that marker the other day and be able to add it to the memorial. And it's a lovely memorial tablet.

Hugh Barnet McCorkle had another daughter, Elizabeth Ester McCorkle, 1-24-1846 died 1-28-1928. Her Find-a-grave memorial marker is no. 53392999. Her tombstone shows dob as 1844.
The Kaufman county, TXGenWeb project has this
Elizabeth's Older brother was William Asa McCorkle

I will have to check to see what Find A Grave recommends.
" Last Name
Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links. Do not include honorary or other suffixes in the Last Name field."
That is what I thought, It is less confusing using the grave stone name just comment on the other names.
I am sure her daughters wanted her buried with the name she had when they were growing up.
You might just mention that when she died she was the wife of A C "Dick" Kruel or something of that nature.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Carla and I discussed the many spellings found for the name Kruel; however that is what in on this family's grave stones.
You are welcome to use any information that in on the Highland Cemetery memorial. I will ask Carla to add a note that the remains were moved to Bluebonnet, but leave the memorial since she was first buried here, and some one might find the records and add he back again.
If you want to add her second husband, I will ask Carla to remove it from this memorial

I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) will not provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. There are actually three mausoleums at SH. Hillcrest Mausoleum, the largest, takes over an 2 hours to walk if you are looking at every entombment. Your cooperation is needed in order for your request to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please email me and I will get your photo. Thanks.

I stopped by Restland today and found Tonja's marker in the Fountain View section. The two spaces to her immediate left were unmarked and a a search in the immediate area revealed no other markers with the name Washam. When they do call back from Restland, you should confirm that along with the burials that markers were ordered or not. If markers were not purchased I can post a photo of Tonja and the two graves to her immediate left. They will need to check a second database but will do that if requested. The first database will confirm the burial. I also will post a clearer photo of Tonya's marker to her memorial. Thanks.

You're very welcome! You see I have kin buried there too and was jjust now given access. I didn't find my kin per se. My extended family apparently preferred not to have markers placed way back when..But that's ok!. I'm glad you are happy! I extend my sincere thanks to a kind cemetery association member who helped me today..:) --Karan

Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so. Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request.
The number is 214 371 1336 or to email them, the link is:http://www.laurellanddallas.com
They are good about responding to the email request! There are over 51 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help
