All are "residents" are listed on our website...www.congressionalcemetery.org
|Patricia Michel||RE: Battle of Flodden|
We usually get info from sources that is possibly incorrect. I'm sure you have researched this thoroughly and I shall make the change.
|Karen Mickel Bennett||RE: Here is some information about Gerard Hutt|
Thank you so much for taking the time to send this information to me! I appreciate it very much and I'm so happy to be able to read all of the information. I am on vacation right now and will not be returning home until the end of July. I will definitely get on it when home.
Your thoughtfulness and consideration is much appreciated!
Glad I was able to help you out.

I was at Rock Creek today. And looked for her grave in Section S. I was unable to find it.
According to RC's records she is not buried in this plot.
According to their records, the only Bremermans buried in Rock Creek are J. Schafer and Sarah Ann.
I was able to find their stone and uploaded it to their memorial.
|David McInturff||RE: William Steele|
His grave is unmarked. There is no gravestone for him. The stones in the lot are for other people buried in the same lot. The wording in his bio came from Oak Hill's on-line database.
FYI, for Oak Hill, I always post a photo of the entire lot before posting one for the individual's marker. So if there is only one photo on the memorial, the burial is unmarked.

I didn't look for Isaac Henry Baker, but didn't notice his name, either. It is possible that his stone is the one buried inside the plants that you can see in the wide angle picture that I posted with the Bakers, but I am not sure.

I have added a picture of Anne Elizabeth Baker's gravestone. While I was there, I photographed and added the records for Robert, Helen, Norman, and Vivian Baker. You can link to them by going to Anne's memorial (Find A Grave Memorial# 83775479).
If you would like larger copies of the pictures, let me know and I can email the files to you.

His wife and son are buried next to him. I can look to see if his brother is there as well the next time I go.
