Bio and Links
Bio Photo is a great resource. It:
1. Helps people find where their loved ones are buried.
2. Allows people who can't travel for health or cost reasons to pay "virtual" visits to loved ones' gravesites.
3. Preserves images of crumbling/fading gravestones.
4. Helps people research their family genealogy.

I'm a systems administrator at Siemens PLM Software. My wife (Vicki) has been doing genealogy research on both of our families over the last few years. In 2013 I went through all the Find A Grave memorials that were in her genealogy records (about 2,700) and submitted updates for many of them based on her research. I've continued in that role as she has discovered more family connections since then.

I keep track of the 4 main branches of our family (Vicki's father, Vicki's mother, my father, and my mother) in 4 virtual cemeteries.

I was the clerk (record keeper) at my church my church for several years. During that time (2014) I went through our membership records and found as many of our past members as I could. I keep track of these in a 5th virtual cemetery.

Regarding transfers: Most of the memorials I manage are not relatives. And even for a memorial that is a relative, I believe that if you are a closer relative than I am, then you should have it if you want it. Just tell me how you are related to that memorial and we'll work out which of us is the closer relative. (I'm not doing this to see how many memorial records I can "collect".)

Only if you want to transfer. I just thought he should have some of his bio posted, as he's pretty famous in the auto design world.

Hugh I French, his wife and children
Was wondering your relationship to the French family buried in Big Prairie-Everett Cemetery, Big Prairie, Newaygo, Michigan.

In the will of Hugh's grandfather, Joseph Buzzard, he names an Edwin and a Hugh French as being grandsons. I see that there is a Charles M. and Hugh listed as children of Henry C. French and Almira Buzzard French on Find A Grave. What I am curious about is the fact that there is a huge gap between the birth of Charles and that of Hugh, whom I have listed as being Hugh A. Charles 1847 and Hugh 1861. I'm wondering if there might have been an Edwin born in between that time but I can't seem to locate any Edwin's born to Henry and Almira. How about other children for this family of Henry and Almira? Any chance you can locate them? Seems Ancestry and familysearch can't locate any Edwin's who would have been alive in 1884 when Joseph passed away. As I didn't find - so far - any census records or birth records I seem to be stuck. Can you help?

If you aren't related, perhaps you might want to transfer the French family names that are buried in Big Prarie Cemetery to me. #46970309. If you are related, would like to touch base to get other info from you.
