Bio and Links
Bio Photo I I live and work in Auburn-Opelika area of Alabama but do travel into rural areas all over the state.
I found this page looking for my mother's family geneaology - GUE - with roots in Amherst, VA before the Civl War and Cabell Co. WV area before, during and after the Civil War.

When I 'go home" to WV I almost always head out to the family cemeteries - Morrison and Green Valley on Bowen's Creek near Salt Rock.

RE: James and Mary Gue image
James Gue is my gg grandfather as well. I don't have the original photo. I was sent a copy of it from another Gue researcher.

Willie Lou Ward Lowry - Loachapoka Cemetery
Hello Teresa!

Thank you for fulfilling my request for a photo of Willie Lou Ward Lowry's marker at Loachapoka Cemetery. I greatly appreciate your kindness and the generosity of your personal time in visiting the cemetery, locating her burial plot, photographing her marker and sharing your photo to her memorial. You're a kind soul.

Best Regards,
Sarah

Scroggins photo
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this photo for me. It is so unbelievable how volunteers are so willing to spend their time taking photos for others. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to do the same for someone soon.
