Bio Photo When starting down this road called genealogy, my mother asked that I find where Moses A. Freeman was buried and prove that all the South Point Freeman's were related. Mission Accomplished Mom.

Father-in-law Reuben Higgins asked me to find where John Higgins' came from....still working on that one.

Your very welcome. I enjoy doing it. FYI-new management at Woodland is cleaning up the place!
Easy to get info as well.

RE: Thomas J Higgins
What regiment was Uriah in, i do not find a Uriah Higgins on NPS listings.
Did find a Uriah Higgins on
1890; Census Place: Xenia, Greene, Ohio; Roll: 63; Page: 2; Enumeration District: 129.
Notes his service as a Private in Company "K" 31st Ohio Infantry, but with further research turns out to be Uriah Figgins.

RE: Thomas J Higgins
I am not related, knowingly. i have a Higgins surname website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mjhiggins/
where i have put a lot of info. I am now finding or creating find a graves for the info i have gathered over the years.
You would be surprised how many people never reply to the info being sent.
Even after a few months of not hearing from them i contact find a grave. Replies are few or not at all. shorthanded i guess.

My civil war Higgins entry page is

RE: Carmi Thompson
he is not related to me. He was a politician from my state, and the Library of congress had a picture. He also has a biography at Wikipedia:

Minnie Higgins Moore
I have checked online for information for Minnie Moore and have updated her memorial. I will check also in the Woodland Cemetery book this week. The birth year on her stone is wrong but the death year is correct with the information I found online. Where did you find your death year? thank-you

Actually, according to the cemetery's database, Fannie and Thomas (age 4) are both in grave 2.
