Bio and Links
Bio Photo I volunteered for this because I was doing my family genealogy and could not find tombstone photos for grand parents, aunts, uncles, and great grandparents and great aunts and uncles who I knew were buried in a local cemetery. After a month I was addicted! If one of the interments that I have placed online is one of your ancestors, I would be happy to turn over management of it to you. Send me an email.A few tips for other volunteers about taking photos:1. Use a camera that can be set to give a resolution that produces a file below Find A Grave's limit or use the new iPhone app which is great and improving with each update.2. An android phone camera with GPS enabled (other cameras with GPS ) are great in all cemeteries.3. Cloudy days are good picture taking days.4. LCD screens are hard to see on bright sunny days. A camera with view finder eliminates that problem. 5. Visit the cemetery office and get as much info as possible concerning the grave sites you plan to visit.Have fun ! I am.

Thank you so much Mr. Bragg!

I am grateful for your efforts. Your report of this burial site has brought answers to many questions. Because I have never visited in-person, I wonder if Parchman Prison has a cemetery. If you can tell me, please reach me at

Findagrave has been a wonderful source. As a result, I have become a contributing member of the website with the aim to help someone further their research, as well. Again, thank you. Richard's great-niece.

RE: Memorial for John Herman Schuman
Glad I could be of assistance. By the way, I did find a couple more Schuman's in the same lot. Would you like a memorial transfer?

your Metairie Cemetery photo requests
I saw the two requests you posted on May 4 2016 for two Berdon interments, in the Berdon Family Tomb in Metairie Cemetery.

Please contact the cemeteryís Records Office (504-486-6331) to determine the plot location for your two Berdons. Be prepared with additional family names, as their records are kept by the plot ownerís name. The older the record, the harder it can be to get the info since some of their records have been damaged over the years. At any rate, if you can find out where within Metairie Cemetery the Berdon Family Tomb is, I will try to get those photos for you. Itís a huge cemetery, so without knowing where to look itís like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Robby Reinhart
Dear Mr. Bragg, I have been forever searching for my late cousin Robby (Fritz) Reinhart. I know he was in prison for strong armed robbery years ago.
He is the son of William C. Fritz (Find A Grave Memorial# 98269361 and Marie Cannette (Find A Grave#59807331). My Uncle Bill and Aunt Marie were married for about 10yrs. At some point Marie married Charles Reinhart. He adopted the three boys! Would it be possible to transfer the Find A Grave page to me? Regards and thank you so much.

Yes, that is where I looked. That plot belongs to a well-known pioneer family in Helena, Wilbur Fisk Sanders memorial # 7129799. I would be interested in knowing how they are related.

Henry Barron, Pvt. Co. E. 27th LA Infantry
Greetings, Mr.Bragg,
I am responding to your request for a photo of the headstone of Henry Barron. The Mississippi Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans is in the process of moving the 45+ headstones of the soldiers buried at Cooper's Well. The stones had been in storage and the new property owner refused permission to place the stones at the original site. The stones will be placed at the Confederate Cemetery at Vicksburg. The actual transportation is Saturday, May 28 and a brief memorial service will be conducted then. The placement of the stones will be later on. At that time a full memorial service will be conducted. I hope to get a pic of the stone then. If you "friend" the Louisiana Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, it will keep you updated on the progress. If you have any questions please call me at 318-245-3401

RE: Photo Request for William Brydia
Your welcome, but that was a hard one to do. The sun was too bright and the information was on top of the big monument. I'll go back on a cloudy day and try to get all three that are named on there.

RE: Photo request for Alex McNeil
George, I must have mistakenly answered you instead of the correct sender. The question was, (if I remember), whether there was a "day" date included on the stone as date of death for Alex McNeil. Sorry if this one was not for you.

I don't think there was a day included.
