I take a lot of photos of the headstones at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Many are dim and are hard to read the inscription. If anyone asks me, I can retake any photo under different lighting conditions and try to make it easier to read.
A few years ago, I transcribed a lot of the Internments at Restlawn Memorial Park:
I recorded over 25,000 burials.
The office claimed years ago that there were over
33,000 Internments there.
When I first started the project, I was allowed full access to the office on Saturday mornings. The manager let me use the Sexton records, plat maps, etc.
When the cemetery was sold, the new manager informed me that I was no longer welcome in the office. I had to do the rest by reading each tombstone.
Since I have 23 relatives Interred at Restlawn, I feel that I should have been allowed to finish the project.
Restlawn will NOT give out a grave location unless the requestor is a direct relative.
For that reason, I will limit my volunteer duties to Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
At Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, a grave location will be appreciated, but not necessary.

Charles. Thanks so much for taking the picture for Patrick Bingle. I know you really had to go out of your way to take a pic in a military cemetery. I appreciate it. Thank you!! Lesa

I've added your marker photo to document place of burial in his record in the Coffelt Database of Vietnam casualties at http://www.CoffeltDatabase.org.
We've used a number of your other Fort Bliss photos as well. Thank you for helping us to remember these men properly ...

Thank you so much. In no way was I expecting this any time soon so thank you so much for taking the time to do this. In all truth I figured it could be months or whenever. I check my grandparents and family members that I can locate on this site a lot as I work on their ancestry, so I was very surprised to see the headstones of my grandparents. I have not seen it up close since 1994. My brother however never had chance to see his fathers - so this is just wonderful for him.It is very much appreciated. More than can be expressed.
