Our summer vacations with our girls were spent searching cemeteries in the mid-west. Living in the Northwest, I would be more than happy to take pictures of headstones to help anyone in need. | |

I am a widow also and understand how you feel. Take comfort in knowing that they are in a much better place and God calls the good ones home first, we just have to wait our turn of course. My husband is buried at Greenwood Memorial Terrace here in Spokane, WA. Spent 31 years in Civil Service and was in the Army before that. We had just spent our 10th year anniversary together and on 10 July 2008 (8 months after his mother's death) he had a massive heart attack that took the electrical system in his heart and blew it up. He never regained consciousness (thank God)because if he had it would have been very painful and he would have been very mad at me for letting them take such liberties as reviving him when he did not want that at all. I can smile about it now but it was hard then believe me. But the kicker here is that it took paramedics 8 minutes to get here and are only less than a 1/4 mile from me here! Outrageous if you ask me! Keep on waving fellow graver, I am sure one day your work with Find A Grave will bring you much reward and treasures in heaven. Just so that you know Barbara's husband Robert is still alive and he also misses her very much. He remarried but the lady has cancer and wants to be alone! How sad for him needless to say! I feel for him too, as it seems he has lost both of them already, but the second wife is still alive and that must be very hard to take.
Anyway yes, there is one more who is in the Rose Garden area by the name of Allen Murphy, he is my god sister's husband. We were there at his final day as well, but we have never seen his grave marker and I would appreciate a photo of his marker when you are able to do that, it will be fine. I have no memorial set up for him but I know almost nothing on his behalf right now so I would have to do some research first then make the memorial to him alright? Take your time alright? Will let you know soon?

I did go and look at the site information you gave me and I used the edit tab and made a correction telling that person she is my aunt, my mother's baby sister. Hopefully if she understands she will put the information in where it belongs and correct the site mistake or just transfer it to me..LOL. Sometimes that has happened to me also...LOl.
