Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Cindi Lovell. I was born and raised in Prentiss County Mississippi. Most of my relatives are from the Mackey's Creek/ Allen Line/ East Booneville communities. I am researching histories of the Smith/Pardue, Wheeler/Maddox families. Also my husband's (Keith) families Lovell/Calton, Palmer/Hearn. I now reside in the New Candler community found between Booneville and Jacinto, MS. My son is civil war reenactor, SCV, and Army. So I have interests in military graves. My grandfather was a moonshiner/runner so I have interest in the Freedom Hills area of Alabama too (also where my grandmother was born). Also as mentioned I live only 1.5 miles from Jacinto Courthouse so I have interests in the history of Old Jacinto area. Love to explore old cemeteries and find bits of history buried there.

I have pictures of all the homes.
I will see if they are on the computer.

RE: RE:Jacinto
I live in the western suburbs of Chicago.

I talked to Vardas sister Estelle and she told me Varda had the place up for sale.

I own Mom and Dads place just outside Corinth.

The Phillips, Williams, Davis and Gray families were dear friends.

Vardas Mother Ruth used to rock me when I was a newborn.
Mable and I are the same age. Our birthdays are very close together.

Mother and Dad raised Johnny Sherill from age of about 11 until he went in the Army.

My older sister Janeice grew up with the Gray children.

Top of the hill was Uncle Jess and Aunt Dora Phillips home.

Dramon and Eula Williams lived just down the hill on left.
My folks farm was next on left around curve and Marlin and Pearl Gray lived just above my folks farm on left.

Aunt Dora and Eula's Mother Lizzie Belue were sisters.
Aunt Lizzie lived with Dramon and Eula until her death.

Dad sold our family farm to Roy Davis.

Roy then sold it to his niece Varda Davis and her husband and she sold part of it to her sister Mable and her husband Ralph.

I wish I would have bought it back 35 years ago.

William & Sarah Sherrill

Thanks for your efforts. Their graves must be unmarked or lost over the years
