| Bio and Links | I have been researching my family tree for over 27 years and have collected much information. When I started, there was no such thing as a personal computer or the internet! At the urging of family, I am now starting to get my research into the technological world for future generations!
I have tried to be very thorough in my research since my rule has always been to find two (preferably three) or more pieces of corroborating evidence before considering it fact. I would never copy another person's information because I have no guarantee that their research is accurate. On Ancestry.com there is much evidence of copying another's research to create their own family tree. You can tell this because the same inaccuracies, typos and other mistakes are repeated over and over. It's very sad.
The surnames from Pennsylvania that I am researching are Morgan, Lute, Glenn and Horn. The surnames from North Carolina and Virginia are Foushee, Ellis, Parks, Sheridan, Stone and Edwards.
NEW INFO and CORRECTIONS Contact me by clicking the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial and then click the; ‘suggest a correction or provide additional information' link. Please provide the source of your information so I will be able to verify the accuracy before I make any changes. I will keep you informed.
This applies to linking parents and/or spouses to another memorial too. Please provide the source of your info, so I can verify the accuracy.
TRANSFERS I only wish to manage memorials within my own family tree. However, I will transfer memorials within the Find A Grave Guidelines. Please state your exact relationship in your request. All requests outside of the Find A Grave Guidelines will be made on a case by case basis. Make your case and state why you'd like a transfer.
A special THANKS to all who have transferred my ancestors to me! You have no idea how much it means to me and my relatives to have our ancestors "returned" to family!! I will write bios on each and every ancestor that I manage. I have so much info on everyone I've researched. This will take time, so please be patient. Please contact me, if there is an urgency for the genealogical info.
USE OF MY PHOTOS You DO NOT have permission to use my photos before you have received my written permission. Use the Edit tab to ask. If I grant permission, I ask that you give me credit as the photographer.
All grave and cemetery photos added by me on this site were taken by me. If you see them elsewhere without my name attached to them, they were used without my permission. I would appreciate being informed.

 | Grave of Jacob Lute Thank you so much for posting this picture! I'm working on a third volume of grave locations for veterans of the War of 1812 and would like your permission to use this picture in the book. I'll cite you as the source. Can you point me in the right direction for finding a source for his wife's maiden name? I haven't been able to find a source anywhere.
Thank you for any help! | | | Robert Hess

 | Nettie V. Highfill I've made the Highfill transfers. If there are any more you want, just ask. I thought I might ask you about another Highfill interred at Fairview Cemetery, Nettie V. Highfill (Find A Grave Memorial# 88332627). She was married to a Patterson, which is an important name in my family tree, although I have yet to determine who exactly her husband was. Her parents were Jeremiah and Minerva Douglas (Moore) Highfill. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. Thank you. Here's some more information:
Birth: Aug. 10, 1865 North Carolina, USA Death: Jul. 11, 1886 North Carolina, USA
Inscription: Nettie V Daughter of Jerre Highfill Wife of E O Patterson Aug 10, 1865 July 11, 1886

 | Parks I have transferred all of the Foushee/Parks memorials. Yes, I am related to these Parks. I visited Parks Crossroads Cemetery back in 1999 and recorded all of the graves at that time. My Parks descend from Joab Parks. My email is triptakker@aol.com | | | Jen Snoots

 | RE: Ellen May Hi there, So she was your grandfathers first wife? If you'd like a transfer, just let me know, it'd be no problem. And by the way, I see you've been here for less than a week so...welcome to Find a Grave! It looks like you are doing a great job :) ~Jen~ | | | Jen Snoots
 | Ellen May "Nellie" Allen Morgan # 73632189 Hi there, Thank you for the info you sent about Nellie! I listed everyone at the cemetery a year and a half ago (I grew up near there) and this is the first time I've been sent any substantial amount of info about anyone there. So thank you! ~Jen~ | | | | [View all messages...] |
