Messick / Woodlawn Cemetery
Hi Barney,
The Messick graves are unmarked...the only marker is the family name on a stone. I will post it to all memorials.
Sorry there wasn't more. Hope you have a good day.

Thanks,

I shouldn't work that late at night. Hurrying to get things done.

Messick, Caroline / Woodlawn Cemetery
Hi Barney,

Weather permitting I will head out next Thursday to look for this grave. FYI...according to the cemetery records she is buried in Memory Garden next to 2 other people. The records show:

C. N. Messick Block 70, Lot 3, Space 1 (70/3/1), died 12/6/1912, age 83
Mrs. C. N. Messick (70/3/2) died 8/30/1906, age 55
Caroline Messick (70/3/3) died 10/20/1942, age 92

Hope this helps!

Mae Mesick family
The phone number of the cemetery is on the main page. Give them a call and see if they have them there. If so you can enter them and request a photo. In those niches I photographed the whole wall so I think I would have gotten them if they were there. I will be out there tomorrow so if you find anything out let me know and I will look for them. Good Luck. R

Anna Maria Mesick Schultz
The Zion Cemetery as well as the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery have contacted me and confirmed that there is no record of Anna Schultz at either location.

RE: Re: Photo request for Anna Schultz at Mt Hope
If it's any help, that grave is registered to William Schulz (with that spelling, for what it's worth), so that is probably little Anna's the father.

Re: Photo request for Anna Schultz at Mt Hope
Barney,

I wanted to provide you with more information on the Anna Schultz who that memorial was created for: The memorial was created from the Mt Hope Interment Records and refers to an Anna Schultz who died at the age of 6 years 6 months old (see http://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00000694.pdf).

Hence, given your mention of a husband, I imagine this is probably not who you were looking for?

We could try to get a photo of the grave site, although it is unlikely that there is a surviving marker there since that section of the cemetery has a quite low fraction of markers per burial and her name was not found among the surviving legible markers in a survey from back in the 1980s (http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-sec-osg.htm). Occasionally, we do find markers that were not found in that survey, but the odds are not good.
