Henry Pascoe
The marriage records showing Henry Pascoe married to Elizabeth Esther Finley is NOT our Henry Pascoe. After very EXTENSIVE research, I found that there is another Henry Pascoe whom is married to an Elizabeth Esther Finley....NO CONNECTION TO OUR HENRY PASCOE OR FAMILY. Took lots and lots of time....but in any event that mystery is solved. So...he was married to Mary Hephzibah Beaumont, Louisa Stoddard, and the Elizabeth born in KY...for a while there I thought there were two Elizabeth's but no...just the three marriages. Now I am very intrigued about this Elizabeth...whom was married to a man named you know her maiden name and when she and Henry were married? What evidence do you have of her marriage to a Mr. Dill? I would love any information you would be willing to share...and any pictures you may have...I understand you have some pictures when you cleaned out the family home here in Arizona. Thank you much for any further information you may be willing to share on this family.

RE: Henry Pascoe's wives
Jennifer...sorry! I missed seeing your email. I am close to the great grand of Elizabeth Pasco in Fort Collins.

We ran into another cousin...descendant of Alice Pasco and have had fun comparing things. She has certificates for what you are missing.

Elizabeth DILL (?) and another Elizabeth that Tonie has have led us on an adventure.

Elizabeth and Henry were in Colorado between the Missouri and New Mexico runs. There was a huge stone house across from a favorite restaurant that Kathy knew as the Pasco house.

We heard when Henry died, Elizabeth had to "go back down" to NM to bury her husband. Census records show she and daughter Cecilia were hotel managers in NM at that time.

Lucy (Hephizabah) was Elizabeth's daughter and she is buried with Lucy's family in Grandview (Ft Collins)....near my own family who knew them. Lucy married Joe (Joseph Raymond) Temple whom she met in NM and they lived in both Colorado and NM. They had a place just South and East of Fort Collins, a place North and West near LaPorte and possibly a house in town.

I knew Lucy's son, James Earl Temple and his wife, Alameda Alta Brolliar. Their daughter, Lucy Jane ("Jane") was a school mate and close friend of my mother. Lucy Jane Temple Holtzinger had 2 siblings, Alta and Craig (never married or had children). There are LOTS of relatives in the Ft Collins area. Some of the land on which they had cattle, I think, is covered by Horsetooth Resevior, and some is now housing subdivisions.

Lucy Jane Holtzinger had only one child...Her children still live on the ranch near Wellington CO (just North of Fort Collins.)

Elizabeth must have ended her days in Fort Collins as Celia married and was living in CO for a time. Her husband (Lange) was buried in HomeLake CO but Celia died in 1937 and was buried in Springer NM. [Her twin is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery (Denver/Wheatridge)right near our great grandmother on my husband's side.]

Interesting that you cousins all are finding each other. Tonie would love to connect with you, too...if you have not done this by now.

John Brown
If you click the picture on findagrave and let it enlarge, it will show 1892.

This cemetery was transcribed in the 1970's and the transcription for John Brown is the same as his entry.

I have not seen any burials in Mound as early as you suggest.

Any other questions, feel free to ask.

RE: Reuben B. Harris
I am still searching for Reuben B. Harris
parents and his wife Ann Brown and her parents
I did make a Brown connection that we think
is Ann parents,
the guardianship papers of William E. Brown
and Chatham E. Brown and Martha H. Brown who
all are brother and sister, led us to Texas
to Chatham Brown's family, and I am still sorting
thru all of this. The Andrews Museum I did not
hear from.
Thank you for your reply. My friend is 91 and
Reuben B. Harris is her ggg grandfather and
she was so hoping to find more on him.

Hopefully, he will add the stone to the memorial, but that may be too much to ask!?!?

Mary Shepherd
Thank-you for pointing out my duplicate memorial for Mary. Unfortunately, the only thing I can do, is to delete my memorial. My suggestion is to you is to ask the original contributor if he will transfer his memorial to you, and you could transfer the information that I have on mine to it, and then let me know, and I will delete mine. I took off James as her spouse. Sorry about that error! Just let me know!
