Bio and Links
I have been working on my family's ancestry for quite a while now, and I'm an active member of both the Son's of the American Revolution (SAR) and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW). I hope to help others with their genealogical searches.
Most of my lines are buried in southern Somerset County, PA around Garrett, Brothersvalley, Summit Township and down along Rockwood to Turkeyfoot Valley.

Thank you so much for the great photos! That is a beautiful stone and I'm impressed and happy that it has aged so well and is still standing. I've never been to PA and that photo with the hills in the background make it look like a lovely area.

I was looking at the close-up photo on Peter P H'S and I think that might actually be his son Peter. It has a death date of Dec 15th, 1884 and Peter P H died May 11, 1884. I had his sons death date wrong as 1870, on his memorial. I will change that date if you would please go ahead and add that picture to his memorial.

Thanks again,
Kim
