I rechecked the cemetery records, and Mildred Losey at Kirwin Cemetery was buried in December 1948. I had the date of death as 1922 which was incorrect. I think it is two different people.

Are you going to transfer Gerald's memorial to Roselawn?

Let me know if you need help.

RE: Losey's in Northwest, KS
No, I have not found any others with that name. However, it is on list of Names to check whenever I'm in that area. I will keep trying.

RE: Hello Rose
Well, for goodness sakes! I went to town yesterday with lots of errands, but my most favorite one was the stop at the library to get Ezra's obit. However, all afternoon, a cute little old lady sat at the microfilm machine. I guess she was reminiscing by reading papers from her past. :) I stopped in four times, and she was there the entire time! So, as luck would have it, the skidsteer needed a tube so I could run into town this morning! And I went to the library and got a photo of the obituary! I posted it to Ezra's memorial. If you can't read it very well, maybe I can help, but that was the best quality print I could get. If you want me to send it to an email, let me know. My email address is on my page. If there's anything else I can help with, please let me know. :) Rose

RE: Hello Rose
My husband had a meeting today at 3:30, so he wanted to drive into town together. I'm sorry. But I'll be going back tomorrow afternoon to do my errands, and we'll go to the library tomorrow!

RE: Hello Rose
Hi Ron! Yes! I would love to go hunt down an obit for your great-grandfather!

I will be going to Powell tomorrow. We'll go early and stop by the library, and see what I can find from the microfiche of the local papers.

Talk to you tomorrow. :)

Losey family
Ron, click on my name in this message. It will bring up a page that will show you what my email address is. I'll discuss the father of James Locy a bit later. What you have read about his father may not be true.---we have found more information.
