Hope to hear from some of you, will be glad to take pics here in Cheyenne and around. See any faults in my work please let me know.

Hi Wyo,

I am really glad you posted the photos. That is so terribly important. It legitimatizes the record and really adds tremendously to the memorial.

Hey, if you ever get a little spare time and you do not intend to use your photo allotment of 20 per week, please feel free to randomly request photos for any of my memorials which do not have them. :-)

I sure would like to get photos posted to all of them, and I figure if I can get a little help, I may actually manage this in 50 years or so. :-)

Thank you for the update,

Sorry ... I am having a brain freeze and cannot remember just how I steered in your direction, so bear with me if you will as I think out loud here.

My Charles Everette Rowe (# 112701063, Memorial Cemetery) married a Cemer (still living).

Still living had a brother and s-i-l, Samuel F Cemer Jr and Donna Hisel Cemer (also buried in Memorial Cemetery).

Donna Hisel Cemer is the daughter of Herbert and Ethel Hiatt Hisel (per Donna's obit, # 36027401).

Okay ... now I am lost. things look different :) ... soooo, I'll just try to answer the questions you asked.

When there are multiple marriages, you would enter the name in the surname block which reflects what the surname is on the head stone.

If you know the memorial number(s) for additional husbands, you enter them the same way you would any family link with one small difference. Below or next to the "spouse", there should be an "add another spouse" option. Click, and a block will appear where you can enter the memorial numbers to link the additional spouses.

As for Donna Cemer's sister, LaVonne Waterman and any ties with this portion of the family and Roy and Clara Waterman, you never know. I manage only one Waterman memorial; that of John (1903-1946) as well as some with maiden name Waterman, but I really don't know. I was just handed around 2,000 memorials and I am trying to develop them through various records. You probably know more than I do about the Waterman family. :-)

I am located in Louisiana; yep, far from Nebraska. However, I have pretty extensive family ties in eastern Nebraska which is how I became so involved with the memorials there.

I agree with your cuz that basically a lot of info has been lost with the passing of generations. My own grandmother passed away just short of 3 years ago at age 97+, and she was pretty sharp up until the time she went. She would have LOVED Find A Grave and could have really contributed a whole lot of info.

By the way, if you know about a spouse, mother, father, but do not know where they are, please make an entry of their name in the bio block.

So ... if Mary nee Doe has husbands, Fred Smith, Joe Brown, and Bob Jones, and she is buried next to Bob Jones with Jones on her headstone, you would enter:

Doe in the maiden name block
Jones in the surname block

Then link all 3 husbands.

But if you do not know where Fred Smith and Joe Brown are, you enter something like this in the bio block:

1) Fred Smith
2) Joe Brown
3) Bob Jones

You can also do this to show the order of the marriages, and also to add marriage dates and other details.

One more thing; members are allotted 20 photo requests per week. Might I suggest that you request photos for your own memorials, which do a lot to legitimize a record. Maybe after you have gotten photos requested for all of your memorials you wouldn't mind using your allotment to request photos for mine. I would like for all mine to have photos, but at only 20 a week allowed, it might take a while before I can get all 5000+ done. :-)

Okay, I have written a book. Thank for the edits and your response, and please let me know if I can assist you in any way,
