RE: Charles G. Eldredge
Hello again.

After thinking about your comment "Why Florida" I thought I'd pop onto Ancestry.com real quick to check if there might be any clues. I found copies of his headstone application which suggest he may have been a patient at the "Veterans' Home" (now called Bay Pines) at the time of his death. Also, I found a copy of the Florida death index which confirms he died in Pinellas County, FL (which is where this veterans' facility is). Many veterans came to this area back in the day because the Bay Pines facility was one of the largest of its kind in this part of the country.

I also noticed that his memorial is currently showing that he died in Erie County, PA so this is incorrect. (Perhaps it was meant to be for his place of birth?)

Anyway, if you send me your email address I'd be happy to forward the images of these copies to you. My email address is located on my profile page and you can write to me privately if you'd rather not post your email address is a public message.

Thanks!
John

Hello.
Getting ready to post the headstone photo for Mr. Eldredge and just wanted to let you know I saw your note but there were no other Eldredges buried near him.
Best wishes,
John

The photo looks correct to me. Maybe it is the size of your screen? I don't know but it is okay when I view the memorial.

Hello I can see that she would be a FULL sibling. the system has her as a 1/2 sibling You need to contact Find A Grave to ask why the system did that. I have no control on how the system figures out these new relationships. good Luck

Dear JE

Thank you for the feedback and confirmation on the name spelling. I have submited a correction request to the person who maintains the "memorial" which only they can change.

micah r. & relief lawrence hart eldredge
hi, i was very interested in the information you put on your sites. it was so nice to get a family history. i was interested to know if you had more information on this family. relief lawrence hart is my great-great grandfather's sister and were children of george and polly lawrence hart. polly was from new hampshire and george from massachusetts but they raised their family of six children in mount tabor, vermont.

you had information that relief and micah r. had two children. i could find information on lucius owen eldredge but nothing on his brother micah rodolphus eldredge. i was hoping you might have some information or a pace to start searcing.

thank you,
deborah hart brushaber
