Bio and Links
Bio Photo Although I have lived in Scottsdale, AZ for 50 years, I was born in Great Bend, Barton, KS and my genealogy roots run deep there. Two pair of gr-gr grandparents and a pair of gr-grandparents settled there. Another pair of gr-grandparents settled in Stafford Co., which adjoins Barton to the south. I owe a great big thank you to the LDS Family History Center in Mesa, AZ. as I have spent many hours there and am grateful for all of the help that I have received.

Hi Mr. Harris, I saw where you took a photo for this cemetery. Could you please give me any information on how to find this location? I'm trying to fulfill 3 photo requests. I can't seem to find any cemetery with this name on Google. I'm thinking perhaps it was under another name at some point. Thank you in advance. --- Amy W

If it wouldn't be to much trouble I really would appreciate you checking the other cemetery. I got cemetery from on online index of the cemetery.. so I'm confused but would really like to know for sure where he is buried. Thank you so much for your trouble.

Harris photo - Hamilton Cem.

I finally found a way to get to Hamilton Cem., and take some photos. Found Alexander Hamilton's gravestone and posted it on his gravesite.

RE: Dana
One last suggestion - the staff at the Cambridge Historical Society also knows a lot about the Dana family, as they were one of the biggest early families in the area. Their website is and they do answer specific genealogical and historical questions relating to Cambridge.

Good luck!
