Did you ever get the info on Nicole Ashworth's family?
I can't remember if it was all resolved. If you still still need help let me know.

Mr Parr---Per your request, I have transferred management of this grave to you. I apologize for the delay. I am glad she has found her family at long last and I hope you find more family connections in your search. Good Luck!

I don't know if this Lydia Miller is related to your Millers or not. Yes, she did live in the Charleston, West Virginia area. Her second husband was Clarence Miller, who is the older man in the picture (standing next to the soldier). The man in the back is Lydia Miller's son and Clarence Miller's stepson, Hersey Dall Atkinson. All of the younger people in the picture (including the soldier) are Hersey's children and grandchildren. The lady on the left in the second row is Hersey's second wife Dessie Walters Brown Atkinson. She is my great-aunt and my only connection to this family. Thus, none of the people in this picture are Millers, except for Clarence Miller and his wife Lydia.

I'm not sure but I will ask my father. My grandmother Sarah Brinkley married a Miller (my grandfather), he passed away at a young age, early 30's. Not sure if they had much contact with his side of the family. My grandmother's daughter had the middle name Louise and it seemed so common to use a name from a family member so it might be a possibility. I'll let you know if I find out anything interesting.

Joseph P. Willis Is my 3rd Great-Grandfather and I would love to see what you on my family. I'm brand new at this Genealogy thing but it has all but taken over.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you so much for adding the newspaper account documenting the death of your biological paternal aunt, Helen Louise Miller. I was saddened to read about the horrific event that caused her death, but thankful that I was able to help her reconnect with someone from her family. Many thanks for your contribution to help us remember this little girl. If you would like, you are welcome to provide information (parents, siblings, etc) to help link her to her family for future genealogical purposes as I know nothing of her heritage.
