|Fawn||Christian Henry Buchwalter question|
I'm working on adding more names to the Riverside Cemetery and I came across a Bell Buchwalter, says she is the wife of C.H. Buchwalter. She died in 1883 at the age of 23. Next to her marker is one for a baby boy named Willie E, last name is hard to read, but I'm thinking Buchwalter. Just wondering if you knew the family's history, and if Christian Henry had a first wife named Bell and maybe had a baby boy with her named Wille.

I was out at Riverside Cemetery a few days ago taking photos to finish recording photos for all the grave markers and I took a photo of the above's grave marker, not knowing you had already taken one. However, I thought you might want to know that the marker has been toppled/pushed over by someone :( I noticed that is it NOT pushed over in your photo and it is such a low heavy marker, that I'm sure someone must have deliberately pushed it over. I thought you'd like to know in case this is an ancestor of yours. There has been a few instances of vandalism by teens in the past, hoping this is an isolated case.

|jbpfab||John F Regan memorial|
Disregard that last message. After I got home & went thru my pictures I realized that I had John F Regan's memorial pic. It is a 3 person stone withe his 2nd wife & a thomas Regan. So that should take care of everything at St Joseph's for you. You can still get the obit if you would want more info.

There is a stone for Mathilda (John's wife, but there is none there for John). You may want to contact the church to make sure he is buried there, because there is a 50+year death difference. We also checked on the stone reading that was done some 10 years ago & he isn't listed on there either.
Below is listed the obit announcement which you can get from the Telegraph Herald in Dubuque, Iowa. That would tell you where he is buried. You can go to thonline.com to order on the internet. Good luck.

Thank you for taking the time to get this photo for me. This is such a great service. I definitely would not have made the drive from Texas to Iowa to get this photo. Your photo is well done.
