RE: Nicholas Miller and James McDermott
Thank you for your note. When I read the story I felt as if the information on these two men would be completely lost to time, so I hope that by creating the memorials it will help someone ind their relatives in the future.

Jane Harvey Meier
at Riverside Cemetery - are you related to Jane?
Documentation is required before I make changes or additions to memorials. However, if you are related to her, I will be glad to transfer this memorial to you so that you may add additional family history if you would like. I have no connection with this family.

RE: Woolsey Robert Garvey
Yes, I was enjoying making up a chuckle at the expense of a notoriously slothful government, given the optics even if not accurate. I work for the Army, developing communications, and have seen my share of getting bogged down in paperwork.

Are you related to Irving Meier, from Neptune? He was a pastor to my wife's family for years here.

Typical of the government - only took 71 years to get the marker in place! The brass marker is very nice, it was wonderful that you were able to get his separation orders and make the application for this. Well I was happy to locate this veteran, right at the base of the veteran's memorial patio.

RE: Garveys
I posted photos of the Garvey plot in Section G. There were no markers with any individual names. I find that Sunday is the best day to take photos at that cemetery.

Did you have a request for photos of Thomas and Elizabeth Garvey at Holy Sepulchre?

You're welcome. I didn't place the flowers but they do look nice, don't they!

I called the cemetery office today and was told he is not buried at this cemetery.

Cindy,

Yes, that is okay with me. Thank you for asking.
I will keep a look out for Peter McIntyre.

I will try to call the cemetery office this week and see if they have a record for him.

Take care,

Peggy

Yes there are 4 markers together.

Eugene Mommer

I also posted a photo for James and Marjorie McIntyre. Same Cemetery

Not sure if Marjorie is deceased or not
Clicking on their photo and enlarging it will show Marjorie name more clearly.

Take care,

Peggy
