Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Sacramento, CA and as an Air Force "brat" moved several times to various states while growing up. My husband and I are both retired California Highway Patrol officers who decided to move to East Texas 8 years ago. We are thoroughly enjoying our retirement on an 80 acre piece of paradise with woods, ponds and pastures. We combine our two favorite hobbies; horseback riding and traveling, and take several trips a year with our horses and a living quarters horse trailer to beautiful riding country all over the western and central United States. The "Find a Grave" photos give us a great opportunity to sightsee the wonderful little towns in our area.

Great Photos! thanks so much for your wonderful effort. It is always nice to see more of the cemetery than just a stone.

Thomas and Willa Dennis

Family History Tidbit. Thomas Dennis was the descendant of a Confederate Soldier at Shiloh (Maxey's 9th out of Paris), and Willa Benedict was the descendant of a Union Soldier at Shiloh (23rd Regiment, Indiana Infantry). The two represent not only the union of two families, but the reuniting of a nation. Remember and wonder, there is a story behind every picture you take.

Thanks again for your work.
