Unknown Tharpe in Ramey Cemetery
You have this listed as wife of Thornton Tharpe. I have created a site on Find-a-Grave in the Ramey Cemetery for Louisa Virginia Curry Tharp, the wife of Thornton Tharpe. They are my great-great grandparents. Louisa is one of the few buried in Ramey Cemetery who has a tombstone. Extensive research by numerous family members confirms the belief that Thornton Tharpe had only one wife, and he was married to Louisa at the time of his death.

Ramey Cemetery
I was looking at your internment list at the cemetery and one of people listed is Amanda Brown and a John J. In the research of my wife's family I have found an Amanda M S Brown who was born in Fauqier county in 1826 and married a John T Crupper (1823-1897). Could these be the graves you saw? Could you upload or send me the pictures of these two graves so I could take a look?

Ellison Ramey

How is Ellison Ramey related to Melinda Ramey Brown, wife of Ellsion Brown. His obituary was found in the Brown Family Bible.

RE: Boyd Graveyard
If you send me that names and dates, I will check in the Brown Library. A volunteer did a cemetery survey in the 80s for Beaufort County. There are thousands of Boyds in this area. Charlotte

RE: Flynn

Awww Thank You Wendy, but I prefer not to have any of them transferred as they are "distant" relatives via marriages, and I don't know anything more about them other then what I've discovered via Census Records. Thanks for the offer. Blessings, Sandi :-)

RE: Mary Lilie Buck
I think the other one must be Robert Lovell Buck. I need that picture, too! Thank you so much! I had another person respond to my photo request over a year ago. She said she lived right behind Prospect Hill Cemetery, but she never got around to getting my pictures for me (:... You are a blessing!!

RE: Mary Lilie Buck
Carroll Newton Buck was her brother. I also need a picture of his headstone if you have time. And I think you are correct with "Lulie" as a middle name. I have it both ways. Thanks again!

Mary Lilie Buck
Thank you sooooo much!! This means a great deal to me. "Lilie" was my great-aunt. I have been waiting for ages for a picture of her headstone. Thank you again for your time and efforts!
