RE: Rachel Ivie
Vickie,
Not sure what you want me to do. The transcript lists her as wife of M.E. Ivie and a daughter is listed on the memorial also. We photographed the whole cemetery and then went back and listed from the transcript. We found many many errors but are not genealogists so I do not know if the obit is for her or not. You would probably need to do a search for the the daughters listed in the obit and see if you can tie them together. Vashti is very close to Henrietta. Let me know if I can be of further help.

Vickie,
I found my transcript and the death date is listed as March 16, 1917. I had it listed as 1916 so changed it to what the transcript states. Let me know if I can be of further help.

Vicke,
I can see that is one of the stones hard to read in the picture. We have been doing some remodeling and I cannot find my transcript to check the date right now. Once I get things reorganized I will look for you. Would you mind sending and edit through the memorial so that I have a reminder to look it up.
Thank you,
Pat

This is my grandfather. So glad to see the link with the newspaper article. Are you related to us? Where did you find the article. Thank you.

RE: Mrs S R Bright
Vickie, Thank you for the clearer obit on SR Bright buried in City Greenwood. I have deleted the old one and added yours.

On my original, I had noted that is was from the 6 December 1917 Daily Herald. I noted the file name you sent said 3 December 1917. Since she died on 2 December 1917 and the article says the body (was shipped", I'm inclined to believe 6 December is the obit date in the Daily Herald. Would you concur?

Thanks again for the more readable obit.

Bill

Will E Lamothe
I noticed you have found many Long obits in Weatherford. Mary M. Long married Will E LaMothe and they show up in the 1910 and 1920 census in Weatherford. Will does not show up in later censuses and Mrs. Smelley at the North Side Baptist Church says the only Mrs. LaMothe and her two children ‎show up in the 1924 church directory. Please let me know if you can find an obituary for Will E. LaMothe between 1920 and 1924. James Cook. Jcook5650 aol.com. Thanks for all the interesting obits

Thomas Anderson Smith obit!
Hi Vickie,

Thank you so much for posting this obit from
Weatherford Daily Herald
11-6-1914

T. A. Smith was my gg grandfather and it means a lot to have this added information for the story.

Are you related to these Smiths or Hannas?

Thank you,

Kim
