RE: E. Wallace Case
Hi Kathy,

Got your message a bit ago, sorry my reply is late. Ellesey Wallace Case's father was definitely my wife's 3rd great grandfather Dr. James B. Case (Born 19 Nov 1833 in Liverpool, Perry, PA)(Died 14 Sep 1873 in Dushore, Sullivan, PA). His mother was Dr. James B. Case's second wife Elizabeth. I do not know her maiden name and she died early before 1880. Last summer I visited the New England Historical Genealogical Society library on Boston a few times and paid for them to research my wife's Case ancestry that I firmly believe is connected to Benjamin Franklin. I still have more research to prove the relation, but it gets expensive!! Dr. James B. Case's father was Dr. James H. Case and the lineage goes as such.... Thomas Case...Absalom Case... Henry Case IV, Henry Case III, Henry Case II and Finally Henry Case I from Southold, Suffolk, Long Island, NY. The Cases are related to Benjamin Franklin through Henry Case II as his mother was Tabitha Vail and her mother was Mary Folger who was the aunt of Benjamin Franklin's mother Abiah Folger (daughter of Peter Folger and Mary Morrill). Have you done Ancestry DNA yet?? That has definitely shown some great results. Well, I have lots of information and can help you with anything. I would really love a picture of Eliza Jane Hodge if you have one!!!! Looking forward to hearing from you.

E. Wallace Case
Hi Kathy,
My name is Tim McDonagh and I just noticed your message to Jerry Case about your great grandfather E. Wallace Case. Dr . James H. Case is my wife's fourth great grandfather. She comes from his son Dr. James B. Case. I have corresponded with someone else and they tell me that E. Wallace is James B. Case's son, not William's. I also see that you have a picture of Eliza Jane Hodge. I would really love a copy of that if you would be so generous!! I have two pictures of Dr. James that you may like. They are old and faded, but they are still pretty good. I am extremely interested in corresponding with you to share information. I am trying to prove that Dr. James H. Case was the son of Thomas or William Case of Luzerne County, PA. If he is then we can trace his lineage back to Ben Franklin etc... I plan on going to the Massachusetts Historical Society this summer to have a genealogist help me prove this. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Hope all is well.

CASE Ancestors
Kathy -
None of the names you cite ring any bells with me. Sorry! My own line runs from Southold Long Island to Luzerne County, PA and, around 1914, to Santa Barbara CA.
Names in my line are Absalom Case -> Thomas Case -> another Absalom -> Major C. Case -> David Absalom Case-> Aaron Case -> Henry Case.
Cheers,
Jerry Case
