Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Florida. I'm a retired lawyer.
I've been doing genealogy since 1989. One thing I love about it is that one can share info without losing anything! And I love chasing down obscurities (that's the lawyer!).

Hi,thank you for the transfer.I have changed the cemetery name to its correct name,Paucatuck. This cemetery was started by Jonathan Smith-my relative at least 5 generations back.I'm really confused why you transferred her to me,I am not related to you.I maybe because one of my great grandmothers was Sarah l. Clarke. This allows for more investigation.

Alvin & Maria Ellis Memorials
I posted pictures to the Alvin & Maria Ellis memorials. I sent several updates to the person managing those pages, including links to Maria's parents - Jonathan and Esther Hamblet.

There was no additional information on the stone for Alvin.

On, Go to the Search drop down menu to Card Catalog (bottom selection), Then, in the left hand filters menu, Stories, Memories, and Histories. Then Family Histories, Journals, and Biographies. Next select USA, then Maine, then Aroostook. The Fort Fairfield history is listed on the right hand list. Click on that and a search page and chapter listing shows. Change the state to South Dakota and the county to Faulk for the other listing.

What a fabulous pic!! Clearly things have deteriorated since you have been to Howland...sadly this happens so often...
thanks so much!
no worries about toes when it comes to pictures! Kind and considerate of you to be concerned but my experience is that if a pic is available of clearer quality or of different angle, it's hard to complain :) I do confess I have seen some Find A Grave contributors who have in their bio "dont add pics" - not real friendly...
be well

I don't see a new pic on this memorial - would be great to see a better one :)

I have photos of the family headstones. If you would like to make a request for them I would be glad to post them.
