 | RE: Myrtle Johns Hough You're very welcome. I did poke around to see if I could feel a marker but it felt like rocks or roots to me. I'm not in the best condition physically to do any digging and I've heard without permission of a family member, we aren't supposed to do that. I have a bunch of other pictures if you would like me to send them to you but I think that one covers a better view of where she rests. She's not to far off the road so if you do get to Tacoma, just look for the Sandell marker when you get to her location. Then she is very close to them. Glad to do this for you. I do love this site. Take care. Andi | | | Kathy Stroope Veasey
 | RE: William & Josephine Ganz my pleasure... wish more families would adopt their grannies! | | | klassikat
 | RE: Hough, Myrtle Hi Martin, I had noticed that the maiden name was Johns. I'm the person who added the site for Marion Johns. Myrtle may be buried near him instead of where the cemetery card states. I'll check into that when I talk to the guru of Old Tacoma. I didn't enter the location of Marion when I took the photo so "my bad" or I would go back and look around his marker for a Myrtle Hough. I do try to check for similar names around a marker but if Johns is not on Myrtle's marker, then I wouldn't have made the association. I try to photograph military markers where ever I go thus I had found Marion's.
Calvary, Mountain View Memorial Park (Lakewood), New Tacoma, Old Tacoma and Home of Peace are the main cemeteries within Tacoma.
No problem for the efforts. Raining today so I won't be going out an about... :(
Take care and I'll let you know what I find out when I do.

 | RE: Hough, Myrtle Hi again, The guy that knows that cemetery's listings etc is out sick. Has been for a couple of weeks. So I will give it a bit of time and call again to see if I can find out who is around Mrs. Hough to make sure I have the right place located. Hang in there. I'll get it once I find out. Take care.
