Hi, I changed out "shack" with "home" in UG's bio. My husband's dad would bring his sons out there to visit UG in his one room, no plumbing home. Their description of him differs from yours, but I left those details out when creating the bio so as not to offend, and I'm sorry if I did.

Benoni Frazee born 1794 NY
Hello Dave,
I was wondering if you would be so kind as to check your files for my Benoni. Do you happen to know if the 4 Benoni's I've seen so far were actually Benjamins? I am a direct descendant of J. Benoni Frazee and Laura Chamberlain. I cannot find
a death record for her either. I think she was born around 1799-1806. They lived in Jersey City, had 7 daughters, and he was a cordwainer(cobbler).I also don't know what the "J" stands for because even in his military record from 1814, he was listed as J.Benoni Frazee/Benona Frazer under Capt Clark. He was discharged due to being a "minor". I have extensively searched the Minisink,N.J.,and nearby areas with no luck....the other family names near him in our tree are: Crawford, DeWitt, Wilcox,Mills, and two of his daughters married Ralph Buell Crawford and Charrick W(CW)Crawford.Benoni lived near White Lake and in Bethel,NY. Thank you so much for you time!!

Message Board Editing Tools include x for deletions
Did you know that you can delete messages from your message board, after you are finished with them? It is a helpful tool: when you are signed on and you pull up your own message listing, look for the tiny x in the upper right hand corner of each and every message; all you do is click the x, and the finished message is deleted.

Thank you for photo of Solomon Sparks
Thank you so very much for your lovely photo of Solomon Sparks' grave, Bethel, Clermont Co OH. Your helpful caption beneath your photo is what allowed me to confirm with Charles von Dietrich Knighton, author and local historian (and Postgate/Posegate descendant), that your Solomon Sparks was the correct one. Charles mentioned that Solomon was buried with the elder generation of the Sargent family (Solomon's inlaws) in a single grave and yes it was very near the entrance; it seems that he is referring to Rev James Sargent and Margaret C, his wife, who fortunately were also already entered into findagrave! Charles indicates that Solomon had 5 Sparks children with his wife Isabelle, nee Sargent, but I do not know details... Thank you again for your findagrave efforts-they are greatly appreciated!

RE: Benjamin Frazee
So Did the caretaker of the cemetery know Benjamin Frazee? Not unless he was the caretaker back in 1810, I don't think so.

So you are calling me and all my family Liars? I told you I have written Genealogies back to the 1950s that has been passed down for ever.

There was 2 Benjamin Frazees, cousins I believe and both was in the Revolutionary war! 1 Remained in New Jersey and the other migrated to Clermont co Ohio in the 1790s in lived in the Virginia Military district before Ohio was a State and he settled in Tate Twp.

I am not offended, I am Mad! There is nothing worse than Having to Explain my self, You are not my parents and You went about this all wrong.
I do not appreciate you trying to re write my family history when I know better, You said you have to clear this up!
Well I am not In court and you are not the Judge.

I can not remember when the last time I have delt with someone like you but If you would have sent a simple question instead of telling me my data was wrong and if you had not left your Own personal comment's on my Benjamin Frazee Memorial you would have got off on a Better start with me.

I am checking my records for me not you because I owe you Nothing, Period

Big Dave

I will get out my files, You may have a mix up here! I am not deleting my memorial!
You are a 9 month member of findagrave and I am not going to be bossed around or told what to do by a Newby, I have been a contributor for over 7 years now and on occasion someone like you pops up who wants everything evolve around them and there own short observations.

There is 2 Benjamin Frazees,

Benjamin Frazeed
I am a Direct descendent of Benjamin Frazee and He is Buried there! I do not think the Trustee was working there when Benjamin was buried there neither.
His family is well documented in Clermont co Ohio and I have written history's passed down from the 1950s from my family.

Yes there is 2 Benjamin Frazee but the birthday is different.

Benjamin Frazee born 1755 died 1800, married 1 Susannah and 2nd Phoebe Littell.

I do have a Large Frazee file as well, I have been a researcher for 20 years now.
