Hello, My cousins and I were delighted to find our great-great aunt's headstone on this site. Thank you for finding it and posting the photo! We are curious who requested that you find it? We must have other family members who are doing research and we'd like to connect with them. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks again! Adrienne

Update. Talmadge died on January 12, 1961. I haven't confirmed with Mountain View Cemetery yet but did find this out. His funeral was held at Ostrander's Funeral Home in Tillsonburg. After, his body was sent by train to Fort William, now Thunder Bay. I never heard anyone in my family talk about this. His wife Margaret was my great aunt.
I contacted Linda and asked her next time she's in the cemetery if she could check if they have a stone and if so to photograph it.
I'll send an update to Find A Grave.

I have contacted the cemetery to inquire if there was a gravestone and an actual death date but they have no record of him being buried there. I just wondered did you transcribe in person or from cemetery records as you seem to have a lot of family info added. His obit also lists his interment as Tillsonburg Cemetery and my parents were at his funeral. Just seems a bit odd that they can't find him there.

Thank you for your prompt response to my message. You will see, if visiting the memorial, I have kept my word.
Hopefully, someday a descendant of this family will make contact and ask to have the memorial transferred to their care. Which I will happily do, letting them know of your efforts to first create it.
All the best,
Roger L Roberson Jr

Hi, Julia. Just sent you a request to edit the parents of Joseph Kouba #114167656. That is, to remove the parents that I had previously sent you. I apologize. I'd sent you earlier, that Joseph & Anna Kouba were his parents. Actually, they are his aunt & uncle. (His parents are Blazej & Vernonika Kouba). Sorry to give you extra work, especially since I greatly appreciate that you created Joseph's memorial. Thanks for your patience.
Thanks Julia for all the edits
|Edwin A Kuehn||Houser Family Info|
Julia, thank you for the info on the Houser family. I figured George could have died in El Paso but never found the evidence.
I am slightly related. A 2nd cousin married one one the boys.
Thanks again. I'll handle your requested change soon.
