I enjoy genealogy, being involved with my family, I like to share doTERRA essential oils, I'm president of the Pacific Northwest Chamber Orchestra. I like to volunteer and keep busy doing good things within my ability because I have Multiple Sclerosis and have to know my limits. I have a wonderful husband. We purchased our cemetery plots at Shoestring Cemetery years ago when most of the family lived in the Salkum and Onalaska area. Many years later we have all migrated or died off. I still keep my memories in recipe books, pictures, genealogy, family records and great memories. I enjoy life one day at a time. | |

 | Family History Addiction Thanks for the kind words. I'm just trying to give back what so many people gave to me when I first started adding my own family to Find A Grave.
The addiction may start to lessen after five years or so--it all depends on how many distant cousins you can connect with and how much info they have.
Not much new information in any of my family lines has come my way for a year or so now--but I expect that eventually all of them will be added to Find A Grave by someone, so I'll learn about them then. | | | Judiepc
 | Lucinda Allen Cooper I just saw that you have sponsored this memorial, what a thoughtful thing to do.
Are you related to Lucinda? She is my great-great grandmother through her daughter Clara May Cooper Bell. I just read your bio and was struck by two things. Two of my best friends had MS and the fact you live in Washington, where I am from. I've read that WA has the highest MS rate in the world, but I've never been able to find out if someone knows why. We lived in Wenatchee/Seattle/Tacoma and Yakima, WA but retired 12 years ago and are now living in Cuenca, Ecuador. My sister lives on Rainier Road on the way to the town of Rainier.

 | Sarah Sipple photo Cynthia, Thank you for your headstone photo for Sarah Sipple. After looking at her memorial I realized that the young daughter mentioned had not been linked back to Sarah, so I've SAC'd to have that done.
We've got several inches of snow, so my headstone photo work has taken a backseat for a while!

 | RE: Winston Oliver Adkins Hello Cynthia, I sent you a link to a map of the cemetery. Hope it helps. Yes I am a descendant of Winston, I explained everything in the email I sent. It's always nice to connect with a relative. Looking forward to communicating with you. GennieAdded by gennie on Feb 17, 2013 5:55 PM | | | Carol
 | Mabel Lashbrook Knauss, FAG #74157014 Needless to say, was disappointed to have the cemetery report Mabel is not buried there,
I am going to edit her memorial to add her obituary and a copy of her death certificate, which both state she was buried at the "Mountain View cemetery near Centralia".
I suppose I better do some more research to determine if there is MORE than ONE Mountain View?? Any insight you can share would be so appreciated.
Thank you for your efforts.Added by Carol on Feb 15, 2013 6:28 PM | | | Christina Kelley
 | Florine Barnes Cusick Thank you for the information Cynthia regarding no marker. I noted it in the bio for future reference. There is also a facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/greenwoodmemorialsg/ that many volunteers utilize for Greenwood Memorial Park, you are welcome to join if you'd like, it may give you additional information and/or support in your future efforts! Your volunteerism is appreciated! | | | Barb
 | Stout Family & Greenwood Thanks. Yes. The fellow graver that took the posted photos, had to actually dig the markers up. It's all squared away now. Thanks again.Added by Barb on Feb 13, 2013 10:49 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
