RE: re: William R Granger
Brenda, would you get back with me about William Granger. You mentioned not being able to locate a particular cemetery, and you asked if I knew of any other information source...and you said you'd like to meet me regarding cemetery... I'm not sure I answered you or really know how I can help... also am wondering about your interest in locating a particular cemetery, that part I may be able to help you with.

RE: re: William R Granger
Am guessing you're trying to prove marriage. Sometimes the children they had will help add to the proof...sometimes the children's death certificates or birth records will list the parents - proving they were husband and wife. It's hard to find a marriage record, usually ancestry.com is a good source. I usually defer to the fact that there were children born of the union and never look for the proof of marriage otherwise.

Granger/Grainger
Not sure of the spelling.
Sounds like you've researched quite a bit. I do not know of any further sources that would be somewhere you could look. Perhaps this can be an ongoing quest, not just a case of giving up. With the work I do with the county, there's not so much time for specific research, but I will be attending the "Stories in Stone" tomorrow, put on by the Horry County Historical Society. Perhaps I can find someone within that group who can be a source for direction for you. A contact name for you. I'm in Myrtle, where are you? Perhaps you'd be interested in the county historic cemetery preservation project. You are welcome to delete my message after you've read it, since it's more personal than profile message type.

re: William R Granger
You left the below message on contributor Diane Baker's page. I haven't been able to get any response from this contributor for the past several months. To remind you, here's your msg below:
William R. Granger
I am the granddaughter of William Wright Granger, born to William R. and Mary Canon Granger on Dec. 31, 1902. I am searching ancestry and came across this information and would love to have some information on my great grandfather, William R. I see he died when my grandfather was 3 years old and my grandfather "Bill" and my grandmother, Mattie divorced when my Dad, Gene Tunney Granger, was a young child. I have tried to search for my great granddad's death record, but have been unsuccessful. Would you be able to help me with this?
