Sarah Leslie
Thank you so much for adding Sarah to Find A Grave, Her family has been searching for her since she died. Her husband Stan Leslie would not even tell her children where she was buried. Thanks again, Marsha

Minnie Pegram Meeks
I approved the maiden name and then changed it to the correct spelling of Pegram. I made a note on the memorial about the maiden name. That family was born with the name Pigg and somehow several members of that family changed their name to Pegram. One of the Pigg family members that lived in Chesterfield County where they were from changed their name to Huntley. I have not been told the how and why of the name changes for that family. I know some of the descendants and they don't know why that was. It looks like they don't want to talk about it which is their privilege.

Maj. Harry Robert Van Arnam
# 114088911 - When I worked at the Esso Station in Northville, "Bob" Van Arnam was a manager at the Ford Garage owned by his brother George. He was a real nice guy. I knew he had served in WW II and was a major, but I just found some additional info on line. His obit says that he was in the Army from 1938 to 1945 and that he was awarded the Silver Star (the 3rd highest valor award for combat) and the Purple Heart (wounded in action). I've updated the page on the Register that I had entered earlier. He was 91 when he died in 2005.
