Carol, are you related to Alma Stafford Van Houten? She was married to my husband's grandfather, Arthur Van Houten. We have pictures of her if you are interested. A sweet lady who was kind, helpful, and loving to Grandpa Van.

I was wondering (since you mentioned Rudolph Gust was your grandfather) if you had any information about Lylis and her 2nd husband Martin McKieneavy. I can't find anything that tells me when they got married or where he was buried. Was he buried near her? Do you know?

I don't know who to call to verify burial records for United Cemetery or for Hillside Cemetery. However, I think the obituary makes it seem like he may be buried in the Hillside Cemetery. I just don't know how to verify it.

Yes, Dorothy Nancy Jane Redfearn, born Mar. 30, 1913 in Ft. Supply, Woodward Co., OK. married Paul Edward Spence in Scottsbluff, Scottsbluff Co., NE on Nov. 4, 1933. Dorothy and Paul had two daughters and one son. I'm not sure when they divorced. Dorothy married Adrian James Hazen in Reno, NV Mar. 5, 1971. Dorothy died Dec. 2, 1999 in Castro Valley, Alameda Co., CA.
Dorothy was my aunt (my dad's sister)
Thanks for inquiring--always glad to share information.

You are welcome! Don

I have transferred three memorials to you from the Exira cemetery. I have made many more memorials for Godwins from the cemetery record list. If you want more transferred, please let me know. I am always glad to put them in the hands of a family member. Thanks!
