After a year of gathering information on my Irish Ancestors, my family was finally able to engrave the Ryan Headstone in St. Mary's Cemetery in West Roxbury. I live south of Boston and despite only being a member of Find A Grave for a couple of months, I have found it fulfilling to be able to find and take pictures of headstones for other members.

Hi Paul;
Thank You for the Pic of Leo and Elizabeth's Headstone. The birth dates on the stone are not correct.I have Leo's birth record and he was born in 1905.Elizabeth's birth date that i have matches her death certificate, her being 54 years old in 1955.The death dates are correct.
Thank You again

Thanks for courtesy of using your photo! I was able to make out their children's names and years of birth & death with the help of the children they were linked to as a guide. A tip to help washed out stones show up better is to take a spray bottle and dampen them - not always practical for a casual trip to the cemetery. :-)
