I have been so thankful to find many of my own family's gravestones on findagrave.com, and I am more than happy to offer the same access from my area, in East Baton Rouge, & Ascension Parish, Louisiana, for others. |
My hometown, Brusly, LA, known as West Baton Rouge (Near Iberville Parish), Louisiana. Plus, I descend from the Nail, Planchard, & Portie Families from the Sulphur (Lake Charles), Hackberry Area in Calcasieu & Cameron Parishes, Louisiana. Just to list where I frequent throughout the state, and would be willing to photograph sites nearby.
Always happy to help out when I can.
*I give permission for anyone to use a photograph I post to this website for any reason.

Thank you for photographing the Alford gravestones in Greenoaks Memorial Park. I appreciate it! (You accidentally posted one of the photos for Viola Alford James, Memorial #38670583, multiple times--can you delete the duplicates?)
I would like to add these gravestone photos to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Louisiana Obituaries, where their obituaries are (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/LAOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, I will add this to the photo caption:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Lindsey [or your full name if you like]
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

You can upload any others you have claimed. That was just one I had walked up on. I don't plan on being back out there till the weekend of Feb 1 thru 3. Thanks.

I see you have a claim on a Barbara P Odom. I found and photographed her stone. She is located in Section 1 of Greenoaks, about the 3rd to 6th row parallel with the fence with an oak tree close to the road. Would you like me to send you the photo to upload or go out and find her? If you want to unclaim the photo, I will be happy to add the photo. I did not see Jimmy Odell Odom near her plot. Please let me know. Thank you.
