RE: Ephriam B Jones
No, in that time frame the only Howells, I have come in earlier and married into the White family of Connecticut. Deacon Thomas Howell 1718-1797. buried in Grove Street Cemetery New Haven CT. He married a Mary White 01 Mar 1744 in CT. I have names Ruth, and Emily Ruth but none in the Jones, Brown nor Clark families. The Time frame is off for my genealogy. MCW

RE: Ephriam B Jones
Been sometime since we talked about Clark, Brown, Howell families and Huldah.
John Howell was in Monroe Co Ohio Tax records 1824. Gathering records and noticed this record.

Did he (John P. Howell)have a daughter Mary Jane who married Jeremiah Brown? Norfolk, Va Aug 23 1855? or is this a different Howell?
Did they have a daughter Emily b. 25 Jul 1812 Ohio and died 1893 Lake Wisconsin age 73 yrs who married William M. Williams? burial in Episcopal Burying Ground I ran across this information searching. If so, your family has to be relation, they were in the same places as my husbands' Clark/Jones, Browns families...

No, I am not related. For some reason I felt the need to photograph this cemetery along with 2 others in that area. Since I live in Virginia, I drove the 5 hours to get there and total amount of time to photograph the 3 cemeteries was about 5 weeks which I did over 2 summers. I've finished photographing all 3 cemeteries that 'were calling me' but I don't have everyone entered onto findagrave yet. It may take me until next summer to finish!

If the age for John Jr had to be adjusted, then Hulda's would also have to be adjusted. Just making John Jr. old enough to be on Tax List would also make Huldah born at 1790, and a child of Lilly and John Jones, not Sarah and John.

Huldah Jones
She would have to have been born sometime after 1802 as that is when Lilly died.
John Jones Records:

History of Cumberland and Adams Counties PA
Chapter XXXVIII. Latimore Township

Tax list for 1807 & dollar amount taxed on.
Lists: John Jones- Wheelwright - 466.
John Jones, jr.- wheelwright-80.(had to be 0f age to be on Tax list)

He (Jr)was 2-4 yrs older than Huldah. If she was born before Lilly died she would have to be born in Ohio as his first wife died Licking OH 1802 with the birth of Jonathan B. They had been in Washington Co., OH before that.
They had a daughter born 1796, 1798,1807,1806.

Sarah and John Jones lived in Fishing Creek VA across the river from Monroe Co. OH-from 1804 to 1814. Where does that leave your Huldah? We know they had 8 children or more.Could she have been born VA? Before that she would have to have been born to Lilly Benjamin & John Jones. The name Huldah is legion in this family. The last 4 are named in Licking Co. History.
