Mother of Permelia Martin Walker
James B Martin's first wife was Wilmouth Massey (married 18 December 1818 per Marriage Register No. 1 on page 108, line 745 with name Willy Massey). James married secondly Rebecca Ferguson 3 October 1838. Therefore, Permelia, born 18 September 1832 was the daughter of Wilmouth - not Rebecca.

Birth Month for Linville F Walker
1900 Census gives month of birth as May. Tombstone also gives month of birth as May; therefore, I submitted a change from March to May. Thought I should explain why.

Aaron Tilley > Joel Tilley
Hello Harley,

I am sorry, but I do not link to 'burial unknowns'. They serve no purpose on the site as this is a grave registration site, and making burial unknowns is against the site rules. In fact, I know of several persons who have been banned from the site for their persistence in creating large numbers of BUs. I know you did not create the memorial for Joel - just wanted to explain to you why I would not link.

Thank you,

RE: Thank You
I did see Cora and Frank. And now that you mentioned it I went back and looked at others. Can you tell me if most of the family are large people. I know its a strange question but I am 6 foot 2 inches tall and all four of my sons are all over 6'2" and still growing. (My husband and his family all stop at about 5'10"-6') I know Claud was 6'6" to 6'8" and figured it comes from my family. Please understand I know little to nothing about my roots on Clauds side. He was 74 when I was born and he died when I was only 8. My mother has only told me he was in the Air Force. Her and Clauds daughter Barbara never got along and I lost all trace of her, so I have no one else to ask questions of. (I know my brother Frank died shortly after dad.) Sorry but the older I get the more I want to learn.

Thank You
It appears we are cousins of sort. My father was Claud Franklin Tilley, your great uncle. I wanted to say thank you for uploading the pictures you have. I have one very poor old poloroid of my father and was very happy to see these pictures of him and his family. He died when I was 8 and I would love to find out more about him and where he came from.
