Hi Clairine, It was nice to receive your message. I am not related to your Uncle Curtis, but I am a distant cousin to his wife Lois. Lois was the great granddaughter of Stephen West who was my 2nd great uncle and Stephen's mother was an Overstreet and Stephen also married Nancy Elizabeth Overstreet. I come from Overstreet family in meany different directions. All my Overstreet lines is enough to confuse anyone. I had three 2nd great grandmother's that were Overstreets.
Thank you for the kind words about my son, and I pray your son complete recovery.
I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving day.

I'm sorry its taken so long to get back to you.
I have been out of the country for a number of months.
The answers that you are looking for might be better answered on "The Louisiana in the Civil War Message Board" there you will find not only book authors but a number of people with extensive records that are always willing to help.
Give them a try with you questions you will be surprised.

Arminda Neal Burns
Find A Grave Memorial# 15980474 was the sister of my 3 greats grandmother Lucinda Clementine Neal Little
There are several Neal's and Burn"s buried in Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Banks County Ga
Including Arminda, Lucinda. and their mother Lavinia Conley Neal I've been unable to locate the burial place of their father
William Neal ( 1798-1835) but he most likely rests in Franklin or Banks County Ga there were some Neal Family Cemeteries in that area he died several years before Lavinia
This is the information on Louise Kesiah Neal Burns sister of Arminda and Lucinda
Birth: Feb. 4, 1827
Death: Jan. 29, 1908
James H. Burns (1823 - 1906)*
