RE: Thank you!!
Her husband is buried next to her. I took the photo of his marker as well. Would you like his as well? If so, I will have to retake it because the shadow of my profile shows in the pic.

RE: Meyers at Maple Grove
Oh, that is an incredible story! I am only a volunteer cemetery historian and president of the Friends of Maple Grove. My full time job is a 5th and 6th grade history teacher for the last 34 years. It is because of my desire to make history come alive that I have joined the two groups together. I have had Inge Aurbacher a good friend come and visit the students many times. She has written the book I Am A Star. If you look at our website you will better be able to see our programs and events
Our most educational programs is Spirits Alive and Victoriana Day. At Spirits Alive the students and volunteer actors dress in period costumes and tell the story of many at Maple Grove. It would be wonderful to tell the story of Wim and Kitty.
I saw there photos on the links and will join to read the rest. Can you send me that picture of Kitty, I am pretty good at restoring photos and would like to give it a try. My email is
Thank you so much for sharing their stories.

Meyers at Maple Grove
You are most welcome and yes of course you can use the photos for your family tree. We here at Maple Grove take a great interest in those we care for here. If you could tell us the story of Catherina, William and Henrietta that would be wonderful.
