If you know how some of the Trabue's in the Mitchell city cemetery are related, I would appreciate that information so I can document as throughly as possible.
I am sorry I don't know this family. I am documenting this the Mitchell city cemetery.
I do see a few obits for Trabue's listed at http://www.monroe.lib.in.us/pathfinder/Genealogy
The Monroe county library will send you these obits for a nominal fee.
Under http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/search?path=INMONROE I see:
MEYER RACHAEL TRABUE 78 15-Jul-1936 VALHALLA PARK
FRIDAY, JULY 22, 1898
James TRABUE, who flagged the north bound passenger train at Horseshoe
Wednesday night to prevent a wreck and who was taken to Bloomington and
held in jail on suspicion of being the wrecker himself, has been
released, no one appearing against him. He says he is willing to render
the officers any assistance he can in apprehending the criminals.
