Please contact me for transference of memorials if you are a direct relative.
For the most part I do very minimal grave cleaning before photographing. I like to leave things as they are to prevent further erosion and damage. If you require a better picture or more extensive grave cleaning, please let me know. I do this for photo requests when I can. I will not do chalk rubbings as these damage the stones. I will not cut back heavy shrubbery without direct family permission.
RE: Transfer Hello! I just think it is nice if a family member wants to take over the memorial, I like having them all in one place if possible. He was my fathers Granduncle. I totally understand what you are saying. Yes, I do know I can make edits and add photos even if I don't manage it. Thanks for letting me know though, I do appreciate it. If anyone closer than me ever asked to transfer it, I would definitely do it. I don't like seeing duplicates either, I have a family member that someone made one of two years after the original memorial was made. I know I have asked for a lot lately because I have come across them as I do research. Sometimes I will hit research burnout and it will be a long time before I work on it again. Thanks for your info and transferring memorials to me!
RE: John Heppenstall Hi Sarah, There are 2 others at brookside, but not near John in the military section. (3 total, that match the database at brookside) Regrettably, it snowed and became quite cold while onsite..winter is not letting go here. I do plan to revisit. I also noticed other Heppenstalls at Elmwood cemetary here in Winnipeg. St Boniface has a few, but have memorial pics already. If you get a chance, please request pics via the respective cemetaries...a bunch of us will be out soon as the weather hopefully improves...cheers, Jim
