Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Grandmother never located her great-grandmother's grave and asked me to help her find Mary Ann Brock Allen. My Great-grandfather searched for his ancestors and our connection to the Old Country.

Kin to Shugart, Burdett, Lenoir, Hume. Allen, Corbett, Brock, Link. Ely, Fry, Young, Pennington. Salmon, Campbell, Broaddus, Upshaw.

By marriage kin to: Herren, Thomas, Jared, Huddleston, Whitson, Bates, Stanton, Boyd, Presley.

Direct descendant of General William Lenoir and Colonel Waightstill Avery. Married to direct descendant of William Jared. All 3 fought in the Revolutionary War.

My son became involved with genealogy and family history a couple years ago as a summer project and now it's a hobby. We work together to uncover family mysteries and enjoy helping others too.

Jill & Son: If you will call Forest Lawn in Richmond and find out the section for your family, we will look for them, next time we are at Forest Lawn. The office # is 804-321-7655. They are funny, if not family. Thanks !

RE: Barbara Ann Huddleston Herren
Larry was a great contributors to Find A Grave and he'll definitely be missed. I keep waiting for an email that I know'll never come - we commiserated with each other on a ton of topics and he always left me with a smile. Such a nice guy. Hard to believe he's gone.

I'm going to try to get a better photo. The glare was unavoidable that day.

RE: Email
Sorry I took so long - got swept up in final exams. I'll send you those pictures today. I'll also send a picture of William Whitefield and his muster rolls. He was the great-great-great grandfather of Lassie and Oba, and he served in the Revolutionary War. I also have the Civil War muster rolls of Robert Herren and Jesse Thomas if you're interested.

RE: family history
Nice to hear from you! Lassie's actually my great-great-grandma, but I've been researching a lot about that side of the family recently. I don't know if you have an Ancestry account, but I have a ton of pictures of all of them if you're interested.
