That is what I believe is the case. I thought it would be best to document it before it was totally gone. Everyone in the Solano County Cemetery Book with this surname is accounted for.
We are going back to decorate family and friends graves at Christmas. I'll take another look at it but I believe it is the original marker.

No problem. Last summer the photo requests were up to about 160 and I managed to get them down to around 80. Then winter hit Ohio and the number climbed again. The personnel and I battle but they don't know how stubborn I can be! Once the secretary (who knows my voice) left me on hold for 10 minutes when I called for a grave location. I just put it on speaker and went about my business until she picked up again. I managed to get about 10 photos yesterday so it was no big deal to look for Masters. I would like to get the requests down to zero so it wouldn't be a big deal for me to call once in a while for a location on a new photo request. We'll see!
I went to the space that you notated and did not find a grave marker. Either the grave is unmarked or the space is not 29/30. I have a map of that block and would have double-checked the plot with the office but they do not welcome volunteer photographers, citing "privacy" reasons. Please call the office at (419) 536-8321 to get the exact location and let me know. If Sandy asks when you are coming by, just say Sunday, since they are closed that day. That is the day I go over there, so they can't give me a hard time for photographing. If it is unmarked in 29 or 30, I will get you a photo of the unmarked space. Otherwise, hopefully I will find a marker in a different location.

I've linked Cynthia Cappas as his wife as suggested but the cemetery records appear to show her has his mother. Are you sure she is his wife? Thank you

This is why I and many many others post the photos of tombstones. People living in other states may never have the opportunity to view them without find a grave. I am extremely glad that you appreciate the photo. Welcome to the family of find a grave!!
