My husband is the Brand side. My paternal great-grandmother was a Fisher. I am having a hard time tying Cyrus Fisher in to her family of Fishers. It seems he should be given the proximity. My g-grandmother's parents were both Fishers...one from Indiana...the other from Tennessee. We have long questioned whether or not they were cousins of some sort, but have not been able to tie that together either. The earliest Fishers that I have are William Fisher, Indiana, born about 1818 and Hudson/Hutson Morris Fisher born about the same time period in Tennesse. Contact me at my e-mail.
