Good luck with F A G. I hope you find it as easy to add/maintain memorials as I do. I just go to the cemetery lookup to find the correct one, then select "add a person to this cemetery" or you can enter a name or partial in the search field to look for someone. If you are adding someone, you only have to fill in their name and year of death. Of course, you can fill in all the fields you know and then hit "add this record" at the bottom.
It's a little harder to link family members -- You search on surname (which shows several family members) click on one that you want to link & hilight the # at the bottom of the memorial and save (ctrl & C or right click save) then go search for the record you want to link and paste that # in the correct relation field in the link individuals and click update at the bottom. Note you have to link a parent from the childs record.
Hope that helps. If you run into a snag, I'll try to help.
I see you are new to F A G. I'll try to clear up some misconceptions you have. First, it is not my web site. Anyone can contribute correct information on F A G by simply adding individuals and/or correcting any errors or omissions. I added persons to All Souls from the Cleveland Public Library death notices (thru 1975) which was an index card file that was scanned, but not proofed.
There are over 100 million F A G records on their web site that help family historians & researchers every day.
I made the changes you included in your email (thank you) & transferred Sophie's memorial to you. Now you can make any more changes you want and add your father & brother then link the family together properly. I sure hope you decide to honor your family by adding them all to F A G.
If you have any questions, I'll be happy to try to help.
Have a great day,
