I have always felt a great yearning since childhood to know all about my ancestors. I have now become the family historian for both mine and my husbands families. |
This is an important task preserving records, pictures and memories of family for generations to come.
The internet has made this oh so much more possible.
My purpose for being a member on Find A Grave is to create links, and include information on the memorials of family, and to assist others in doing so as well.
If in my travels I create a memorial and it is your relative, I will be more than happy to transfer it to you. It is not about the numbers. It is about that person and the respect of their memory.
All those that have gone before us here are a part of someone. An intricate interweaving, that makes us who we are today. They were loved and still are.

Done. Maybe check your junk mail. I found cremation permits for them.
Sent you something.
is your email current?

I was looking at your photo request for her. According to the cremation permit, her father was a Ferdinand Meyer and her mother Anna Kremmling. An Inge Berger was listed as the next of king. There's a note that the funeral director would pick up the ashes. If she was interred at Forest Lawn, I'd need a specific location in order to search because the place is massive.
Sheila, he is listed on page 44 of the Huron County, Ohio Cem Inscription book, Clarksfield Methodist Cem, Clarksfield Township
Stone 13, BROUGHTON, J.W. (1837-1886) GAR 15th Ohio Batt'y Inf
The remainder of the information I looked up on Ancestry to try to fill in dates etc.
PS: I am assuming since he is related the other Broughton's in the Cem book would be related also. They are:
Arthur H., Cora A., Donal E., GW, George W., Harry E., Helen Hosmer, Lyman J., Mina J Morgan, Retta Meyer Hopkins, Smith and Walter G. If you need any info on any of them, let me know. Barb
Sheila, transfer made. I like to check people out before I transfer. You met my criteria. I have had many people ask for transfers of people who are not related, and this I will do if they transfer as freely as you and I. But many who ask, have put right in their bio that they will only transfer per Find A Grave rules. Oh Well - too bad. They are the one's who are in it for the numbers. Anyway, if you find any more people who are related to you and you would like them, just ask, I will be more than happy to transfer. They would be related to you and probably not to me. Barb
I have transferred Mary, John, and Patricia to your care. :)

I've made the links to his parents and have transferred Harold and Sylvia Sanders' memorials to your care. Regards,
|Law-Miller Roots||RE: Schibley|
Hi, yes... I remember we were in contact some months ago. The Schibley's are related through our Sabiers, Wilker and Barris relatives. Hope all is well.
I was able to transfer Martha, but I don't own Joseph, you will have to ask that person, I did put on their pictures.
