Married with 1 daughter & 1 son. 3 grandchildren.|
My dad always had a huge interest in history, especially the civil war, WWII and Lincoln. I guess that is where I got such an interest. Just about anything I read is history. I have traveled to many civil war battlefields and forts. I guess it is just natural to then be interested in our family history as well. I have been doing geneology for a few years now and have traced thousands of relatives back to the 1500's. What is especially interesting then is to put some stories/personal history with the people. I have ties to the Mayflower, the Salem Witch Trials, the Donner Party. Relatives from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. Some killed, some wounded, some that came through fine.
Find a grave fits in perfect and is a huge help for anyone trying to trace their family history.

|barb jones||Sampson Mooney|
I would like to provide some information about Sampson Mooney. You have added a Confederate record on the site, but it is an incorrect one. The court martial record that is posted is his cousin, not Sampson Martin Mooney who was my ggggrandfather. There are two Sampson Mooneys in the Civil War. The grave you show is my Mooney who was in the 44th Brig. of Hall County and the other one was in the 8th Battalion of the GA Infantry. This gets very confusing for us all! However the enlistment of my Mooney is on the internet as the Hall County enlistment documents. I would appreciate if you would remove this document and perhaps add the other one. Thank you. barbara jonesin Williamsburg, VA

Martha is my great grandma, can you identify the other people in the wedding picture? Thank you.

|Timothy M. Coplin||RE: John & Susan Houchin|
I did find and photograph numerous other Houchin markers which are not indexed on F.A.G. I will be creating memorials for them. Keep an eye out for them, and if they're related I'll be more than happy to transfer them to you.

Your grandfather's memorial is now in your care. There was nothing you needed to do.
|El Memorializer||Carl B. Carter|
I linked his parents and first wife to Carl, but I was unable to link his children. You will need to contact the creator of each of his children's memorials and request that they link Carl. However, I did add all the additional information you gave me to his bio section crediting you as the provider. Also, if you would like to manage your grandfather's memorial, please let me know and I'll be glad to transfer.

Finally tracked down the lady I was telling you about. She thinks the Thomas you mentioned is her husband's grandfather. She would be interested in talking to you. Shirley
Jessie May Calder Louderback: 10 Jan 1894 - 11 Aug 1970
daughter of Allison Edwin 1862 - 1927 & Catherine Webb Calder 1861 - 1944
do you have a findagrave number for either parent?
|El Memorializer||RE: Carl B & Hallie Basham Carter|
No, unfortunately I don't. I'm not related. Good luck in finding the information you seek.
Many thanks for taking the gravestone photo! The memorial page with the photograph added, is a respectful manner in which to honor him.

Dean, I made the change you requested for Elizabeth. If you would like to manage the Fosdick memorials, I would be happy to transfer them to you. Just let me know. THANKS!
